Montauk Wilderness Medicine Trip

The wilderness medicine division had an awesome fishing and camping trip out to Montauk last week.  We went on a fluke fishing boat and caught a ton of fish.  Four were large enough that we could keep them and cook them up.

Everyone caught at least one, but Hannah took the prize catching the largest fluke and winning the $50 pool.  We also planned to camp out there in Hannah’s back yard but the weather did not totally cooperate with us.  It rained pretty hard and only the dedicated outdoor’s people slept outside in tents.  In the end, a good time was had by all.

Don’t forget, the next Wilderness Medicine event will be a BBQ in Jessica Paulson’s back yard on 9/3/13.  All are invited as long as you don’t mind talking about the outdoors for at least part of the time.
