The Wilderness Medicine group met for the second time this month and had a great time playing with sharp objects. We reviewed this paper:
This paper teaches you how to safely open an Epi-Pen to get up to 4 additional doses of epinephrine out of each one. While the Epi-Pen is made to deliver one single dose, when out in the middle of nowhere, the need may arise for additional doses of epinephrine in the face of anaphylaxis.
As you can see, everyone was having a great time all hopped up on epinephrine and popcorn although I have to admit some people may have had other liquid intoxicants in their systems. Some fine looking people showed up.
Hope you all learned something from this post and we look forward to seeing everyone at our next Wilderness Medicine meeting on February 4th where Hannah will be discussing a paper and watching everyone drink. Hope to see everyone there.
