Dusky, very tender mass coming out of the anus, diagnosis?Sounds like a thrombosed hemorrhoid
Dusky, very tender, treatment?excision, but not for everyone.
Above treatment if? Contraindications: – Immunocompromised – Pregnant – A child – Portal hypertension (eg alcoholic cirrhosis) – Coagulaopathy. Excise only if in severe pain and <48 hours old
