VS: HR 120s, RR 40s, O2sat 88% on NRB, BP SEE BELOW.

PE diaphorectic,

Crackles all the way up the back.

Name the diagnosis and next appropriate therapy for the following blood pressures…

BP 240/140
Dx: hypertensive emergency/acute pulmonary edema. Tx: Bipap, nitro

 

BP 80/40
Dx: Cardiogenic shock. Tx: ECG, Vasopressors, Cards
